Saying buhbai to the awesomeverse this Friday… already creyed all eyes out because of the Pecoln pic, but I’m really gonna miss the altverse, cause they’re my bbs and they totally redeemed themselves this season and I don’t wanna talk about the reason they were so evil in S2-3, because I’ve already said what it was too many times, plus some may find this controversial, but I see nothing controversial here, it’s clear and simple.
So I hope they treat Lincoln well and I hope Charlie likes him, because isn’t he kinda supposed to remember Captain being that way?
Farewell, my lovely world of advanced technology, farewell, Kennedy, you will be forever missed.
P.S.: Let’s laugh at this post together after the episode if they don’t separate the worlds or if the redverse dies again.

“She” being “He” of course.
[WARNING] This is gonna be one of my “calm” rants (aka rants where I’m trying to be reasonable, but not a bit less pissed), so if you don’t want to continue reading a rant please don’t. Thank you!
First of all I’d like to say that I’m really happy a lot of people are calling 4.17 the strongest episode this season. And I’d like to point out that these three up there totally made my life in a way that I can’t explain.
I already said it on twitter that I love how the difference between the two Lincolns was Olivia Dunham. And not just ANY Olivia Dunham, but this wonderful beautiful colourful little sharpshooter we didn’t get a chance to meet properly this season.
Heck, we didn’t even get a chance to know this Captain Lee, although how can you not love him and remember that version of him that made this world human and doesn’t even exist anymore, when he’s shot in the chest and he just keeps on working, keeps trying to figure out what went wrong. As our Lincoln used to say a lot “What changed?”.
And as for the alive/dead debate I’d say I doncurr, cause I’m done theorizing with the show and here’s why.
It lost its consitency. It’s still great and I’m a masochist watching for emotions, but every single piece of information we had on the redverse was once again flushed down the toilet because these details are not important and these are just supporting characters.
Cap’s father died in 2010 in the previous TL which means both his parents are now dead. He had siblings while our Lincoln doesn’t seem to have even one and what’s up with that? There were trying very hard to show there’s no fundamental difference and yet there is.
How could his father know Secretary Bishop? Not to mention he was supposed to be a jurist.
Olivia joined Fringe Division in 2008 in our timeline, so what changed in this timeline that made her join two years earlier instead?
Of course we can pretend there’s something more behind that, but it really is just a big plot-hole. Like Batman who was on the posters in the redverse in S2 finale and they would definitely know who he is.
The last episode made me love the redverse and Liv even more and I’m really sad that we can’t get any proper information on their backstory which is being constantly rewritten, starting from season 1. So the fact that Tyrone was burnt to the bone and survived two years ago doesn’t mean anything anymore and he’s probably dead because that’s what the show wants. *sadface* /endrant
